TRANSCRIPT 1: DADDY PIG´S BIRTHDAY


Narrator: Today is Daddy Pigs birthday, Daddy Pig has to go to work.
Peppa: [Pig Snort] Daddy, I wish you didn't have to work on your birthday.
Daddy Pig: Hoho, so do I but I'll be home as soon as I can, see you later.
All: See you later.
Mummy Pig: While Daddy Pig is at work, we can get all his birthday surprises ready. '
Mummy Pig: First we'll make daddy's birthday cake.
Mummy Pig: We start with butter and sugar and flour, then we add an egg. And most important of all, the chocolate bits.
Peppa and George:  Ooooooh
Narrator: Mummy Pig is making chocolate cake, Daddy Pig loves chocolate cake.
Mummy Pig: Then I give it a stir.
Peppa: Mummy, can I stir?
Mummy Pig: Yes Peppa.
Narrator: Peppa loves stirring.
George wants a go.
Mummy Pig: OK George thats enough stirring
Mummy Pig: There, Daddy Pig's chocolate cake.
Peppa: Hooray.
Mummy Pig: Now we just have to bake it in the oven.
Peppa: Mummy, can I lick the spoon?
Mummy Pig: Yes, you can lick the spoon and George can lick the bowl.
Peppa: Yippee.
Narrator: Peppa and George love chocolate cake mixture.

Mummy Pig: Poor Daddy Pig, he's missing all the fun.
Peppa: Mummy, can I ring daddy at work and say "Happy birthday"?
Mummy Pig: Thats a nice idea.

Narrator: This is the office where Daddy Pig works.
Mr Rabbit: Hello, Mr Rabbit speaking.
Peppa: May I speak to Daddy Pig please?
Mr Rabbit: Someone for you Daddy Pig, it sounds important.
Daddy Pig: Hello Daddy Pig speaking.
Peppa: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! Happy birthday.
Daddy pig: Ho ho thank you Peppa.
Peppa:Don't be late home Daddy.  Bye bye.
Daddy Pig: Bye bye.
Mr Rabbit and Mummy Cat: Happy birthday Daddy Pig.
Daddy pig: Thank you.
Mummy Pig: There's just one more thing to do before Daddy gets home.
Peppa: Yes,daddy's birthday surprise. Shhhh!  George, remember it's a secret.
George: Shhhhh!
Narrator:  Peppa and George have buckets of water.  Mummy Pig has balloons.  I wonder what Daddy Pig´s surprise can be.
Peppa: Daddy's home.
Mummy: Quick, back to the house.
Narrator: Daddy Pig is home from work.
Mummy, Peppa and George: Happy birthday Daddy Pig!
Daddy Pig: Ho ho thank you everyone.Wow, what a lot of candles.
Peppa: That's because you are very very old daddy.  You must blow out all your candles in one go.
Daddy Pig: I´ll do my best.
Mummy Pig, Peppa and George: Hurray!
Mummy: And here's your birthday present.
Daddy: Thank you, new boots. Fantastic. Let's try them out.
Narrator:  Peppa, George and Mummy Pig are wearing their boots. Daddy Pig is wearing his birthday boots.  Dady Pig has found a little puddle.
Daddy Pig: Let's see if these boots work.
Narrator: The puddle is a bit too little for Daddy Pig.
Daddy Pig:  What I need is a big puddle.
Mummy Pig: Why not try over here Daddy Pig?
Daddy Pig:  Ohh what's this?
Peppa: It's your special birthday surprise.  Shhh!
George: Shhh!
Narrator: What are they up to?
Peppa: A big muddy puddle.
Daddy Pig:  Fantastic! Ho ho ho my birthday boots work perfectly.  Would you care to join me in my birthday muddy puddle?
Narrator:  Daddy Pig loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles.  Everyone loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles.
Daddy Pig:  This is my best birthday ever.  Ho ho ho.


TRANSCRIPT 2: MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

Narrator: Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig have been tidying the house.
Daddy: Mumm y Pig and I found this old box in the attic.
All:  Ooooh.
Daddy: Can anyone guess what's inside?
Peppa: No.
Mummy:  It's full of musical instruments.
All:  Wow.
Daddy:  Ho ho they are a bit old and dusty.   Ahhh chooo.
Mummy: This is the violin I used to play when I was little.
Peppa: Mummy, can you play the violin?
Mummy: I haven't played it for a long time.
Peppa:  Please mummy, play it.
Mummy: I hope I haven't forgotten how.
All: Bravo! Hurray.
Peppa:  Mummy can I hold the violin?
Mummy: Hold it like this.
Peppa: Yes mummy.
Narrator:  Oh dear, I do not think it is meant to sound like that.  George wants to try.
Peppa:  Hold it like this George.
Narrator:  That does not sound quite right either.
Peppa:  The violin is too hard to play.
Daddy:  Peppa, maybe you would be better off with this tin drum.
Peppa:  Thank you daddy.
Narrator: That sounds better. Peppa loves playing the drum.
Mummy:  Oh lovely.
Daddy: Yes, it sounds very nice.
Mummy:  This is Daddy Pig´s old accordian.
Daddy:  I used to play this to Mummy Pig when we first met.
Mummy:  Oh Daddy Pig, I remember this tune.
Daddy:  Ho ho.
Narrator:  George wants to play the accordian too.
Daddy:  Are you sure George? The accordian is quite difficult.
Peppa:  George the accordian is almost as difficult to play as my drum.
Daddy:  OK George.
Narrator: Maybe George is a bit too little to play the accordian.
Peppa: Daddy, what other instruments are in the box?
Daddy:  Just this horn.
Peppa:  Can I try?
Daddy:  You have to blow it very hard.
Narrator:  That does not sound right.
Peppa:  It's impossible.
Mummy:  I think I used to be able to play it.
Narrator:  That really does not sound right.
Daddy:  Ho ho maybe it just needs someone big and strong like me.
Narrator:  That does not sound right either.
Daddy:  Peppa's right.  It is impossible to play.
Mummy:  Never mind Daddy Pig, just stick to the accordian.  You play it beautifully.
Daddy: Ho ho well I do play it quite nicely even if I do say so myself.
Mummy: And I´ll play my violin.
Peppa:  And I´ll play my drum.
Narrator: Mummy Pig plays the violin, Daddy Pig plays the accordian and Peppa plays the drum but what instrument will George play?  George is blowing the horn.
Peppa:  Muumy couldn't play the horn, Daddy couldn't play the horn and even I couldn't play it but George can play it.


TRANSCRIPT 3: SUN, SEA AND SNOW

Narrator: It is bedtime for Peppa and George.
Daddy: Tomorrow we´re going on a coach trip to the seaside.
Peppa: We can make sandcastles.
Mummy: I fancy a swim.
Daddy: Me too. The weather forecast says it's going to be sunny.
Mummy: Goodnight Peppa, goodnight George.
Narrator: Oh it is starting to snow. It is morning.
Peppa: Yippee. It's sunny. Huhhh, snow!
Narrator: A lot of snow has fallen in the night.
Peppa: Snow mummy, snow daddy. Snow, snow, snow!
Daddy: Ehh, what?
Peppa: We are still going to the seaside, aren't we?
Daddy: Well, let's see how much snow there is.
Peppa: Oh where's daddy gone? Huhh it's a walking snowman.
Daddy: I´m cold.
Peppa: It's a walking talking snowman. Oh it's just daddy.
Mummy: Poor daddy, let's warm you up a bit.
Narrator: Mummy Pig, Peppa and George are warming Daddy Pig up by rubbing him with towels.
Daddy: That's better
Peppa: Now we can go to the seaside.
Mummy: But what about the snow? I don't think the coach will be running today.
Peppa: Oh.
Narrator: Miss Rabbit's coach has arrived at Peppa's house.
Mummy: Goodness me. How did you get through all that snow?
Miss Rabbit: With my big snow plough.
Narrator: Snow ploughs push the snow out of the way.
Peppa: Hello everyone.
All: Hello Peppa!
Narrator: All of Peppa's friends are going to the seaside too.
Miss Rabbit: Next stop the seaside.
All: Hurray!
Narrator: Mr Bull and his friends are gritting the road. The grit helps melt the snow
Miss Rabbit: Hello Mr Bull.
Mr Bull: Mooo. Hello Miss Rabbit. It's taken us all night but the road is clear all the way to the seaside.
Miss Rabbit: That's good. We´re going to the seaside. Would you like to come along?
Mr Bull: No thanks Miss Rabbit. We´ve got more roads to grit.
All: Goddbye Mr Bull.
Mr Bull: Bye, have a lovely day at the beach.
All: (singing) Oh, we're all going on a seaside holiday, sandcastles, swimming and sunny skies. We're all going on a seaside holiday, sea and sand and ice-cream too.
Miss Rabbit: Here we are, the seaside.
Narrator: The beach is covered in snow.
All: Oh!
Miss Rabbit: That sea looks cold.
Mummy: I was looking forward to having a swim.
Madame Gazelle: You still can. The sea's not frozen over. Come along girls. What are you waiting for?
Miss Rabbit: I can't swim because I have sprained my ankle.
Mummy Sheep: And I think I mioght have a cough.
Madame Gazelle: Come on in Mummy Pig. It's lovely.
Mummy: Are you sure it's lovely?
Madame Gazelle: Of course. The sea is wonderful today.
Mummy: Okay then!
Narrator: Mummy Pig is going for a swim.
Mummy: Ahh ha.
Peppa: Is it cold Mummy?
Mummy: It's a little bit cold.
Miss Rabbit: It always feels cold when you first get in.
Mummy Sheep: If you keep moving, you'll warm up.
Mummy: OK I´ll keep moving.
Narrator: Mummy Pig has run out of the sea.
Daddy: Let's get you dry.
Narrator: Peppa, George and Daddy Pig are warming mummy up by rubbing her with towels.
Mummy: Ohh that's better. Are you going for a swim Daddy Pig?
Daddy: Maybe not today.
Miss Rabbit: Who wants an ice-cream?
All: Me, me me, me.
Narrator: Everyone likes ice-creams at the seaside.
Peppa: I wanted to make sandcastles but the beach is covered in snow.
Daddy: We can make snow-castles.
All: Woooh.
Daddy: First we fill the buckets with snow. We turn the buckets upside down, give them a little tap and hey, presto a snow-castle.
All: Snow-castle.
Suzy Sheep: I love the seaside.
Danny Dog: And I love the snow.
Peppa: I love the seaside and the snow!
All: (singing) Oh, we're all going on a seaside holiday, sandcastles, swimming and sunny skies. We're all going on a seaside holiday, sea and sand and ice-cream too.

TRANSCRIPT:  HIDE AND SEEK

Narrator: Peppa and George are playing hide and seek. It is George's turn to hide. He must quickly find somewhere to hide before Peppa finishes counting.
Peppa: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
Narrator: George has found somewhere to hide just in time.
Peppa: Ready or not, here I come!
Narrator: Peppa has to find where George is hiding.
Peppa: Found you.
Narrator: Peppa has found George.
Peppa: George I can see you too easily.
Narrator: Now it is Peppa's turn to hide.
George: One, three...
Mummy: I´ll help George to count. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. OK George open your eyes.
Narrator: George has to find where Peppa is hiding. Peppa isn't hiding under the table.
Daddy: George, have you thought of looking upstairs?
Narrator: Peppa isn't under the bed. What was that strange noise? Peppa isn't behind the curtain. There is that strange noise again. What can it be? George has found where Peppa was hiding.
Peppa: George found me. Now it's Dady's turn to hide.
Daddy: Oh I think George should have another turn.
Peppa: But George isn't very good at hiding.
Daddy: I´m sure George will be better this time.
Peppa: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
Narrator: Oh dear Peppa will easily find George.
Daddy: George come over here.
Peppa: Ready or not, here I come. George isn't hiding under the table but George always hides under the table.
Daddy: Have you thought of looking upstairs?
Peppa: I know where he is. George is in the toy basket.
Narrator: George is not in the toy basket. Where can he be? Peppa can not find George anywhere.
Peppa: Daddy I can't find George.
Daddy: Oh dear I wonder where he can be. Actually I think there is something about George in this newspaper.
Peppa: George, found you!
Mummy: Oh George that was a good place to hide.
Narrator: George was hiding behind Daddy Pig's newspaper all the time.
All: Hahahaha




TRANSCRIPT:  SCHOOL PLAY
Narrator: Peppa's playgroup are going to put on a play.
Madame Gazelle:  The Little Red Riding Hood.
All: Hurray!
Narrator:  All the children have parts in the play.  They have to practice at home.  Peppa is going to be Little Red Riding Hood.  Mummy Pig has made her costume.  Daddy Pig is helping Peppa practice.
Daddy: Oh Peppa, what do you say?
Peppa:  I´m Little Red Riding Hood.
Daddy: Very good.  Then what?
Peppa:  Errm, I´m going to visit my grandma.
Daddy:  Bravo Peppa.
Narrator:  Danny Dog is going to play the Big Bad Wolf.  Grandad Dog and Mummy Dog are helping him practice.
Danny:  I´m the Big Bad Wolf.
Mummy Dog:  Try not to laugh Danny.
Grandad Dog: Try to be a bit scarier.  Try it like this Danny.  I´m the Big Bad Wolf, I´m going to eat you all up roooar.  You see.
Danny:  Yes that was really scary.
Narrator: Pedro Pony is going to play the hunter.  He will rescue Peppa from the Big Bad Wolf.
Pedro: Erm, I´m the hunter and ...
Narrator:  Pedro is a bit shy.
Mummy Pony:  You say I´m going to chase you away you big bad wolf.
Pedro:  Go away naughty wolf.
Mummy Pony: Very good Pedro.
Narrator: Rebecca Rabbit is going to be the grandma.
Rebecca:  What do I say Mummy?
Mummy Rabbit:  Let's see.  At the start of the play you get locked in a cupboard by the Big Bad Wolf.  And right at the end you get rescued and you say thank you.
Rebecca: Thank you.
Mummy Rabbit: Very good Rebecca.
Narrator:  Everyone has come to see the play.
Madame Gazelle:  Ladies and gentlement welcome to our play of the Little Red Riding Hood.  First, let's meet the actors.  Please please for the sake of the actors, no photography please.  And now our play begins.  Grandma is at home.  But who is this visitor?
Danny:  I´m the Big Bad Wolf.
Grandad Dog:  Well done Danny.
Danny:  Erm...
Narrator:  Oh dear, Danny has forgotten what he says next.
Madame Gazelle:  Grandma you must go in the cupboard.
Danny:  Go in the cupboard.
Madame Gazelle:  The Big Bad Wolf is pretending to be Grandma. 
Peppa:  I am Little Red Riding Hood.  I´m going to visit my Grandma.
Daddy Pig:  Bravo Peppa.
Peppa:  Daddy, you must not take photos.
Daddy:  Sorry Peppa.  Carry on.
Peppa:  I´m going to visit my grandma.  Oh you don't look like my grandma.  What big eyes you have. What big teeth you have.  You're not Grandma, you're the Big Bad Wolf. Help oh help!
Madame Gazelle:  But look who is here. Just in time.  Pedro the Hunter.
Peppa:  Help oh help!
Madame Gazelle:  Just in time.  Pedro the Hunter.
Narrator:  Pedro is a bit shy.
Madame Gazelle:  Pedro would you like me to come on with you?
Pedro:  Yes please.
Pedro:  You're a very naughty wolf.  I saved you Grandma.
Rebecca: Thank you.
All: Hurray.
Mummy Rabbit: Bravo bravo.
Peppa:  Pedro you were very good.  You were almost as good as me.
All:  Ha ha ha ha.

TRANSCRIPT 8: WASHING

Narrator.  Daddy Pig is doing the washing this morning.
Peppa: Daddy, what's that shirt?
Daddy:  It's my football shirt.
Narrator:  Daddy Pig is playing football this afternoon.
Daddy:  But first I have to go to work.  See you later.  Bye.
All:  Bye. Bye.
Peppa:  Poor Daddy, having to go to work.
Mummy:  Poor Daddy.
Peppa:  Let's play.
Mummy:  Yes, let's play.
Narrator:  Peppa loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles.  George loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles. Mummy Pig loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles. Oh dear!
Peppa:  Mummy, we splashed Daddy's football shirt with mud.
Mummy:  Don't worry we'll just wash it.  It'll be washed in no time and daddy won't know it was ever muddy.  Let's find some more things to put in the machine.
Peppa:  Oh my dress is a bit muddy.
Narrator:  Mummy Pig and George have found more things to wash.
Mummy:  Very good George.  We put the clothes in here and then we switch it on.
Narrator:  The washing machine is filling up with hot, soapy water.
Peppa:  Splosh, splosh, splosh, splosh, splosh, splosh.
Narrator:  The washing machine is making the whole room shake.
Mummy:  Oh Peppa, where's your dress?
Peppa:  I´m washing it.
Mummy:  What!  Oh no.
Peppa:  Look Mummy, my red dress is all nice and clean.
Mummy:  Yes Peppa, but look what it's done to everything else.
Narrator:  Oh dear, Peppa's red dress has made all the white clothes pink.
Mummy: Pink isn't a very good colour for a football shirt.
All:  Oooh.
Narrator:  Daddy Pig is home from work.
Daddy:  Hello everyone.
Mummy:  Daddy Pig we have got a bit of a problem and erm,..
Daddy:  Tell me later Mummy Pig.  I´ve got to get ready for football now.  Where's my shirt?
Peppa:  Here.
Daddy:  Don't be silly Peppa, that's one of Mummy's dresses.  It's pink.
Mummy:  No Daddy, it's your football shirt.
Peppa:  It got a bit muddy..
Mummy:  ...so we washed it...
Peppa:  ..and it all went a bit wrong.
Daddy:  But I can't wear a pink football shirt.
Peppa:  Why not daddy, pink is a lovely colour.
Daddy: What do you think George?
George:  Yuk.
Narrator:  George does not like pink.  Here are Daddy Pig's friends.
Mr Bull:  Is Daddy Pig coming out to play?
Mummy:  He'll just be a moment.
Daddy:  My team are in white. I need a white shirt.
Peppa:  But Daddy you've got a white shirt.  Just take off your jacket.
Daddy:  Thank you Peppa.  Hello everyone.
Mr: Hello Daddy Pig, like your shirt.  Very smart.
Daddy: Thank you.  Come on everyone, let's play football. 
All:  Goal.  Hurray!!
Peppa:  Daddy, you've made your shirt all muddy.
Daddy:  Ho ho of course football shirts are meant to be muddy.
Narrator:  Daddy Pig loves playing football.  Everyone loves playing football, especially when it's muddy!

Narrator:Peppa and George's cousins are coming to visit today.
Peppa: "Mummy, how long before cousin Chloe is here?"
Mummy: "Not long now Peppa, baby Alexander is coming too remember"
Peppa: "Oh, babies cry all the time, they're so noisy."
Daddy: "I'm sure baby Alexander won't be that noisy."
*Waaahhhhhh*
Mummy: "What's that sound?"
Daddy: "Is it a car alarm?"
Peppa: "Is it a fire engine?"
Mummy: No, it's baby Alexander.
Cousin Chloé: Hello, Peppa. Hello, George.
Peppa: Hello, cousin Chloé.
Uncle Pig: Hey, hello everyone!
Mummy: Hello, Uncle Pig.
Auntie Pig: Hello.
Daddy: Hello, Auntie Pig.
Auntie Pig: You remember baby Alexander, don't you Peppa?
Peppa: Yes!
Baby Alexander: hehe
Daddy: Are you staying for a few days?
Auntie Pig: No, this is what Alexander needs for just one day.
Uncle Pig: Can't go anywhere without all these baby things.

Narrator: It is lunchtime for baby Alexander.
Auntie Pig: Cousin Peppa is going to feed you today, Alexander.

Peppa: He keeps turning his head.
Baby Alexander: auh
Narrator: Feeding baby Alexander is quite hard.
Auntie Pig: Watch this. Here comes the airplane. Whoooo
Cousin Chloé: Alexander likes it if you pretend the spoon is an aeroplane.
Auntie Pig: You have a go, Peppa.
Peppa: Here comes the aeroplane, wrrrr. Open your mouth and in through the doors. Whoosh
Peppa: That was an aeroplane. Can you say aeroplane?
Cousin Chloé: I told you, he can't talk.
Auntie Pig: He hasn't even said his first word yet.
Mummy: Peppa, do you remember what your first word was?
Peppa: No.
Mummy: It was Mummy.
Daddy: I thought Peppa's first word was Daddy.
Mummy: No, Mummy.
Cousin Chloé: What was George's first word?
George: Dinosaur.
Daddy: George's first word was dinosaur.

Daddy: Somebody looks like they had a good lunch.
Uncle Pig: Yes. Bath time, I think.
Narrator: Baby Alexander is having a bath.
Baby Alexander: hehe
Peppa: This is Mr. Dinosaur. Can you say dinosaur?
Baby Alexander: [baby babble]
Cousin Chloé: He can't talk, Peppa!
Peppa: But he will talk one day. Then you'll know what he wants.
Uncle Pig: What do you want to do now, Alexander?
Baby Alexander: [baby babble]
Peppa: I think he wants to go for a walk.
Uncle Pig: He can't walk yet, but he can go out in his buggy.
Daddy: That's a clever little buggy.
Uncle Pig. Yes. Five gears, mud guards and ABS as standard.
Peppa: Blah, blah, blah. That's how daddies talk.
Baby Alexander: hehe
Auntie Pig: Alexander likes it when you talk, Peppa.
Peppa: That's because I am very interesting.
This is the sky. Can you say sky?
Baby Alexander: [baby babble]
Peppa: The sky is where rain comes from. Can you say rain?
Baby Alexander: [baby babble]
Peppa: Rain is good for ducks and plants, and making muddy puddles!
Narrator: Peppa has found a big muddy puddle.
Peppa: Look, Alexander. I am jumping up and down in a puddle.
Baby Alexander: hehe
Peppa: I love jumping up and down in puddles.
Baby Alexander: Puddles.
All: Ooooh.
Auntie Pig: Alexander has said his first word, "puddles."
